And there's a little 'tourist' on the fourth pic from last pp
Lilies are looking lovely. I can feel the warmth from the sun - could have done with some of that heat here today!
Jacqueline - we also have a dedicated thread for our garden pix on the forum. If you want to add them there, lots more people will see them. Garden Pictures 2016 is the name of it
There's also a camera thread - you seem very adept with yours, so it might be of interest to you as well. We use it for all sorts of other pix as well as some 'flowery' ones. Punkdoc has put on his safari pix which are stunning
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thank you Fairygirl I will put some onto the threads. It does make a difference when the sun comes out, it seems to put a smile on the flowers faces, and mine too. And capturing insects and bees etc on them is lovely as well.
It makes a huge difference Jacqueline - it's been in short supply here in the last week or two, but the garden brightens immediately when there's a few rays, and so do we!
One of the regular posters (Sheps) on the camera thread is an excellent wildlife photographer- I'm sure you'll enjoy seeing his terrific photos.

Thank you, Typhoo do you mean the pink spires one. That is a Veronica 'inspire pink', just deadhead and more flowers appear. It will die back in winter and regrow in the spring.
The lilies are starting to come out lovely now. And I took a picture of this beautiful creature sunning itself in the garden. I went to the Hampton Court Flower show today, just love it. Came home tired but with lots of ideas, and some more lily bulbs to plant up tomorrow.

Oh wow Jacqueline those colours are amazing on a dismal day like we're having here. That bottom one is like a holiday postcard!

What glorious photos - more interesting to see 'real' gardens than those professionally manicured for plant catalogues etc.
i didn't know about the pics thread, Im destined to spend even more hours glued to this tablet !
It's all very addictive Eric's Mum! The garden pix thread is really inspirational. 'Real' gardens
The camera thread is full of all sorts of things - a nice way to spend a few minutes..or much longer!
I don't think you'll be disappointed if you take a look
