    After checking on my cuttings this morning the leaves are all wilted? is this normal or shall i start again

    If somebody choppped your head and feet off you'd be feeling a bit rough too. image They will do that for a while but they should pick up again.

    I have some (not brilliant) success with cuttings and in my book it says to reduce the leaf area. I'm not saying you definitely should (a** covering here) but those are very big leaves.... just saying. They might be losing more water than they can take up at the minute. 

    Cloggie seemed to think they were ok so give them a day or two.

    Thanks guys, sorry FG I did but the cat brought a bird in so totally forgot to reply, I did cut the leaves down so shall let them get on with it and see the outcome

    Luke -  No problem re replying -  image for the little bird

     The cuttings should perk up then  image

    Let us all know how you get on, or if you have any issues.  If they don't take, you can try again. It's a good plant to experiment on anyway  image

    I inherited a very mature white one here, and last year I had to hack it back to move it. I used one thick branch as a stake for another small tree as I was short of proper stakes, and the 'support' rooted and produced new growth! image
