Broken fuchsia

Hi

I have just been outside to find the main stem on my climbing fuchsia has broken.  The break is not all the way through and the plant is in a large pot.  Is there anything I can do to save it?

I read somewhere that you can bind some types of plants and they will recover.  Can this be done for a fuchsia?

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Michelle. Well I would give it a try to see what happens. Depends how severe the split is

    Take a few cuttings just in case the plant doesn't survive the break.

    Thanks for all your advice, I've attempted some sellotape and some extra pinning to keep everything upright.
