I think last year it was a little smaller and at the minute it looks like there may be tiny buds forming but I don't know if they are just more leaves starting to open, or actual flower buds
It looks like Monarda to me, common name bergamot. It does tend to get mildew and prefrers neutral to alkaline soil.. Smells quite strongly when touched , when it flowers ( and it's a bit early yet ) the flowers are not fragrant .
Haha I'm trying to check it every day. Them little tiny catapillar Bugs wrap themselves in the leaves and when I open them up they have made fluffy stuff and stuck the leaves together. They are a nightmare.

Looks just like my self heal but if it is it would have flowers by now.
Please don't let anything eat it or blight it 'til we all know what it is. Waiting here with bated breath!
