Help! Alyssum not flowering

I sowed some white Alyssum a few months ago and its struggling to flower. I've got about 1 flower in the whole seed tray 
I used the same make and variety of seeds, compost and method as I did last year which gave me dense blooms of flowers but sadly nothing this year.
has any one else had problems with white Alyssum?

They also enjoy vegetables especially rocket and radish.
