When to move a taxus tree
My taxus trees are in pots and I want to know when the best time is to move them into the ground? They are about one year old and two metres tall.

The best time to plant them is autumn, while the ground is still warm and thus give them a chance to put out a few roots before winter. You'll need to prepare large holes for them (at least twice the size of the rootball) and, depending how sheltered the position is, possibly stake them to keep them stable for their first winter. They'll also need watering as though they were in pots for their first year if the weather is dry.
Thanks for your reply
You can plant out from pots any time, Tease out the roots a bit to give them a start, don't let them dry out but don't drown them.
