Only 2 months training to run a marathon!? I definitely wish you luck. Probably too late now for you to see this in advance, but don't worry about time and start slowly.
Best of luck Lou! Good for you! Or though it may not feel it by the end.... but first pint in hand, important to rehydrate you will be amazed at your achievement!
Very best wishes Lou, I've done a few marathons and I can honestly say they were some of the best days of my life (afterwards), great achievement, not just physical it's mental as well.
I hope it goes well for you and well done on the fundraising.
Enjoy the pub afterwards too.

Thanks everyone, I've lost toenails Dordogne Damsel for sure. For some reason we're doing the South Downs way (100 miles) over 2 or 3 days camping along the way at the end of July.

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Great link Pansy. I'm in the middle of that yellow bit right now and it's bouncing!
Good luck Lou!
Right behind you (also on the sofa)!

Wondering why people do this for fun?
Exhausted, sunburnt, feet turned into blood stumps but raised a few hundred quid for British Heart Foundation.
Not doing it again
Think you deserve to put your blood stumps up for a good long rest Lou
congratulations on your triumph!
fantastic fundraising too! Well done!
Well done Lou, great feeling crossing that finishing line ( for all sorts of reasons).
I always lose a toenail or two that's usually the bloody bit but you will survive and probably do another one too, you have that PB to aim for now.
Enjoy the rest and recuperation and huge congratulations, well done.
