Is it too late to sow peas under cover?
I'd sow an early variety (early = quick to crop) direct outside - no need to sow under cover now.
Silvia, sow a row directly into a raked bed and then another row two weeks later, you will get crops of sweet peas well into summer (if we get one).

Thank you all for your help
I planted mine in a tub yesterday, they were 'Kelvedon Wonder', it said April - June on the packet.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
