Lamium
I bought three very lovely pale pink lamium which are supposed to be great for dry shade under a tree. Watered them religiously when it wasn't raining as the label said to until they are established.
Didn't go out for two days as it rained non stop and even under the tree was saturated and they are all dead.
I know they are called dead nettle but they are not supposed to be dead. Any troubleshooters out there?

My silver leaf ones are expanding in dry shade. The golden one disappeared over winter.
My silver leaf lamium has 2 leaves remaining, in spite of regular slug patrol and daily slug pellets. For some reason they won't leave it alone...
When you say dead, can you be more specific? Do you mean vanished - eaten - or withered or crispy or covered in aphids or slimy...? What did the roots look like?. I find them easy to grow but slugs do love them. Could that be the problem? What about overwatering?
I think they have been devoured by slugs posy but the remaining plant has flopped over and shrivelled, it looks like I forgot to water it but I didn't.
I'm wondering if I should have potted them on for a bit until they were much bigger so that they didn't get eaten.
Well, I would protect the roots and see if they put up some new shoots. Good luck.
Yes good idea, I think I'll take that out and put them in pots.
