    I can go with that one. I like walking in the rain, the smell of wet pavements and drippy woodland - but not squelching about in my garden

    June is haymaking time. The weather was ever thus, and the gardens of the UK are famous for their beauty. 

    my glass is half full, (even if it contains soft rainwater image). 


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    B3, you can always go to the GC to get more slug pellets! That's what I'll be doing this weekend.

    My glass is always half full - and if it isn't I get the bottle out of the fridge! I am always optimistic as life is too short and precious to be anything else.

    July will bring more settled warm weather, there will be rain but not on the scale we've seen so far. Patience people patience. Goods things come to those who wait. At least we won't have a hosepipe ban.
