What is this plant/weed?

I'm hoping someone here would be able to identify this. It's growing on a rough part of my garden that is full of rubble and hardcore. The tiny flowers appeared about two weeks ago.

Thank you! I'm so happy to hear that. I thought at first they might be forget me nots, but someone told me the flowers are too small for that. I'm getting the garden renovated soon so all the rubble will be removed and topsoil laid etc. I'd really like to save this plant and grow more of it if possible. Is it likely to survive being dug up and possibly put in a pot for a while?

No, it won't survive, they're biennial, they die after flowering. But if you let it seed you'll have plants everywhere next yearimage

I guess it's likely all the seed will be removed along with the rubble, unless there is some way of collecting it. It's a shame, though I guess I could always buy some forget me nots. It's just nice that they turned up on their own!

Pull them up and shake onto some newspaper, and you will have seed to sow wherever you want.
