well isnt that weird... its in terrible earth as bottom of garden ..gets no feed or turned over etc etc... its a pretty large plant with others growing nearby... will it flower.!. must google & have a look at flower... thank you everyone for your input

Helleborus foetidus. Likes a bit of lime in the soil, so pops up in the cracks in my paving.

Helleborus foetidus is a native plant, it can survive without our ministrations.

Doesn't do so well with human interference.
