Bug ID please

I've spotted lots of these on the leaves of my hardy fuschia.

It's black and orange, 7mm long and has white tufty bits at one end.

It lifted itself up from the tufty end when I was trying to take pics and stood on end image

Sorry about the quality of the photo, it's the best one of a bad bunch.

Can't see it very clearly 'cos it goes blurry when I enlarge it, but I think it's a ladybird larvae in the process of turning into a grown up ladybird image

    A very good guy!

Just a quick update to say that my mystery bugs are all grown up now and I have lots of new Harlequin ladybirds living in my fuschia bush. ? image

Looking at the BBC ladybird spotter page it seems I have both 'f.spectabilis' and 'f.succinea'.

Bit of a mouthful and I've probably spelt the names wrong so as far as I'm concerned they're red uns and black uns. image

Let's hope they like it enough to stay.
