my daughter has just bought a new build house, been there 8 weeks or so on a new estate. Through the fence at the end of their garden it looks like bindweed is creeping through the fence between their garden and the wall adjoining their neighbours. How can she get rid of it please?

spray with roundup being careful not to exceed the dose suggested on the bottle and don't spray on stuff you don't want to die.
Many thanks for speedy reply! They have just had turf put down but there is a border of approximately 2-3ft between the fence and the new turf, with card could they still spray Roundup?
Yes they can still spray Roundup. Just do it on a fairly still day to avoid the risk of the weedkiller drifting where it isn't wanted, and keep the spray head close to the weeds.
