Planting out agapanthus
i've been growing some agapanthus from seeds since 1st Dec. I've noticed a few roots poking out the bottom of the 1litre pots they are in.
Would it be okay to plant them out so should I pot them on into 2litre pots ?
I'm wondering if I planted them out now if it would give them a chance to bed in before winter.
Many advice gratefully received. Thank you.

I think they're a bit ickle to survive out there in the big bad world. I'd give them a wee bit more TLC for a while.
how long do you reckon ? Patience isn't my virtue, but these are a labour of love. Are we talking end of summer or next spring ?
Sorry probably a daft question, but should I pot them on to give them more nutrients. How long would nutrients last in a pot when you are growing plants on ? Should I be feeding them ?
questions, questions...
I'd think they'd be fine in there until next Spring. Keep an eye on the roots . Agapanthus are happy being snug in their pots. If the foliage starts to yellow a bit later, give them a liquid feed.
OK thank you. I need to find somewhere to put them, they are currently cluttering up my patio. I need a whole potting up area
