Curling tomatoes

Tomatoes curling tightly  growing ends. Lower leaves ok. Blossom seems ok. Two varieties both affected. Gardeners delight and Alicante..

any suggestions pleasE? There is no sign of insect activity.imageimageimage

    Could it be related to the temperature, perhaps at night time?

    All was well until they reached the third truss. They all are grown in Westland multipurpose compost. 

    ive grown tomatoes for 50 years and never seen anything like this

    Thanks! I think it is too late to do anything now. It it may be excessive fertiliser. I've only fed once with tomorrow but the problem has already started

    Has anyone else seen this before?

     hi croftdc78 I had that problem once and a old gardener older than me told me that some people say it is a blind tomarto all I was told when first on shows nip it of and rest came ok  I only went 4 trusses on them (  it was a marmamde)  big toms  hope it helps    image

    Thanks Michael. I have stopped them. I hope this will salvage something 

    a Gardner friend of mine used to say that you need ' the healthy curl of the happy tomato'. But this is ridiculou!
