Has anyone got my problem?
I have a small veg garden and have recently planted out my runner beans with the usual sprinkling off slug pellets, but to my amazement l found that the jackdaws were eating them as fast as l was putting them down.
I will now have put netting over the beans but l can't cover the whole of my veg patch.
short of a shotgun has anyone got any ideas?

I get lots of Jackdaws in my garden they eat slugs and leather jackets if you are using methalyde pellets not good keep them covered with a slate so birds cannot get them as all birds are known to eat them
