Unidentified bugs-what are they?
Just come across these in my garden. Never come across them before. Anyone know what they are, and are they gardeners friend or foe? Any help most gratefully received.

They are a type of Shield Bug. There are about 40 odd different varieties of Shield Bug in the UK and they are sap suckers.
Thanks ladybird4. It's not a very good photo but looking at them more closely I didn't think they're Sheild bugs so did more search on Internet and they're figwort weevils!
