Begonias

So I hear Monty has been dissing begonias :-)

I plant them because nothing else will grow in difficult and bare spaces such as under the holly tree and on baskets in the shade area and I think my begonia illumination are beautiful. Such stunning colour and grow well even in deep shade.

Personally I hate pom pom dahlias.

Don't hate me pom pom dahlia lovers :-)

Same here Lou. Great in shade and stand up to bad weather.

I love all bright flowers.  I plonk a rainbow of annuals into my front garden beds which are mainly filled by various shades of green shrubs, so it's a lovely contrast (I think so anyway !).
