Chlorophytum Comosum 'Ocean'

in Plants
hi all, just purchased a chlorophytum comosum 'ocean' from local garden centre. Ok so I didn't realise it was just a spider plant (I remember my mum having one in the 80s!) Anyway, it looks really nice and it was cheap as chips.. My question is... It seems to be several plants within one smallish pot. Is this ok or should I seperate? No idea how fast the plant grows of it is does anything, it seems to have a flower spike on it though!

You could split them easily and have several even cheaper than cheap as chips plants! Or alternatively you could transplant all of them into a larger pot to allow for better development. They are very tough plants.
Thanks Ladybird, just been googling and apparently they like to be potbound! So I will see what happens!
