bindweed?

Hi, a few weeks ago I planted a row of parsnip seeds and I have now got a row of bindweed I think. Nowhere else is it growing except down the parsnip row and right the way along it!  Now I've not grown parsnips before (I've not planted a row of bindweed before either but I've seen plenty). What I want to know is, is there a species of parsnip that looks, at 8 to 10 inches of growth, like bindweed?

I have pulled a few bits up and the below ground bits also look more like bindweed than a parsnip taproot.

No, basically, they look nothing alike.  A photo would confirm as nut says...

Ummm! How do I send a photo on here. There are no image tags or any options available apart from bold italic or underline!

I've just been out to get my tortoises their food and I stopped at a gardening place and the guy there said he thought the plant I took to show him was a cultivated convulvulus. Didn't know bindweed was cultivated. How ever did that seed get into a pack of parsnip seeds though?

It might be a pretty one. And could I just also add that parsnips are the worst vegetable! EVER! I'd rather eat the flowers!
