Bordeaux mixture is a mixture of copper sulphate and lime. On Ebay there is one seller of these to make your own.

Thanks Alan,my husband has now ordered dithane 945, as it said it was for blight, but why isn't Bordeaux mixture available?
Bordeaux mixture - along with other substances - was banned and withdrawn in November of last year. This was mainly due to the fact that the copper in the Bordeaux mixture was building up in soils and was proving to be injurious to worms. Currently there are no chemical blight treatments available to gardeners. Scrupulous hygiene around plants is needed - removing and burning all affected plants.
