My Aloe Vera needs help !

imageimageimageimage

Hello me and my aloe realy need help!

Got them from my mum, the leaves were lush green, firm but flopped in half.

I brought it home and watered it. I think I over watered it as some leaves then got squigy and very fat by the stem.

Left it for 2 weeks but it didn't get any better. So I repotted it and split the pups up. ( it was sat on a sunny windowsill)

So I reported and set them in the green house and didn't water them for 3 days.

Soil: mixture of 1/2 sand, 1/2 veg garden soil and a small amount of chushed charcoal.

Sun: Sat in a green house out side- well ventilated and doesn't seem to get too hot mid day.

Water: Watered them once in the last week after reporting just a dribble for 3 seconds.- The soil is close to bone dry.

-- Since the reporting and being in the green house they now look soooo sick!---

I just don't know what to do. Can any one help us? ????

I find they do best on a shaded windowsill. I think they scorch in full sun

You can buy cacti fertilizer. When you pot up the pups don't plant them up straight away leave it for a couple of days. Spraying the exposed area with water  on regular basis during those days. It will form a calus, plant in to the compost but don't water until theres signs of new growth.keep them also on a shaded windowsill until this takes place. You don't need charcoal or sand. Sand i should imagine will aid bad drainage in your case. If your not sure about the watering regime. Leave it if they feel firm.but at the slightest sign of them turning spongey. Water them straight away. But let the water run drain through completely. During the growing season feed with a dilution of tomarite once a month.
