My poor sweetpeas have suffered from the heavy rain and strong winds, tops of plants snapped off, will these re-grow? I have just spent the last hour tying the plants onto the supports.
They'll put out some side shoots and grow thicker and bushier - it's just gardening I'm afraid
Thank you. Fingers crossed the weather is soon going to be kind -warm and sunny please!
hi Grajean
As Dove says they will pull through with a little time and tlc.
Heavy rain storms and hailstone was forcasted last week in the north east so i used some protection on my soft crops.
guess what it never came however if i hadnt of done it the rain would have poured.
keep plodding on and happy gardening
