Laburnum Golden Chain advice

Hello, I have a Laburnum Golden Chain which was given to me as a gift 3 years ago, and I think it was probably a couple of years old - pot grown. I planted it as soon as possible with some good compost & fish blood & bone added to the soil.
It's in a sheltered part of my Garden in a well drained spot, please can anyone advise me as to why it has not yet produced flowers apart from the solitary 1 bloom, please?
