What should i do with my Primulas now they have finished flowering as the leaves are so big, Should i cut them so i could plant something in for winter.

Leave them. They'll fade eventually when they've fed the roots and seeds. I grow mine in a bed where they are eventually covered by hostas, astilbes and Japanese anemones so I leave them alone unless I want to collect seeds from the japonicas to sow fresh or split the ordinary ones to make more.
