marketmore cucumbers

I have a few marketmore cu's in the greenhouse as well as outside. Do I need to remove any flowers, or pinch out side shoots?

It was so cold and wet down here in Cornwall this spring, that all my first plants grown from seed in March died- if that is of any help to anyone!
