Salix

Hi,can anyone help !why has my salix gone brown in a matter of day's,this has also happened to a friend of mine.Any idea's?

    which salix is this lisa? some a mighty tough trees, others more fragile

    Hi Lisa. The pale leaves of Salix flamingo are not injured by either sun or wind. They like to grow in full sun to partial shade and like all willows they like lots of water. Perhaps the willows are too dry?

    If you mean that the leaves have gone brown then this is normal. they are after all deciduous trees and lose their leaves over winter.

    this thread started in June. Must have got lost somewhere.

    Those flamingos aren't very tough, they can't deal with dry or hot sun. Not enough chlorophyll for health. Those in pots suffer most
