Plant recommendations for Front Bed

Mark56Mark56 Posts: 1,653

Hello there folks,

I've just re-located our tulips and alliums which provided a great spring display in the front garden bed. It gets sun from early hours until 12ish in the afternoon. I was wondering what perennials you would suggest? Preferably something striking to the eye, I've already got a hibiscus, wagelia, two lupins and an recently planted hardy geranium. The lupins generally do well when they aren't plagued with greenfly. I'm kind of past planting annuals, as I have quite a few pots and hanging baskets to fill.

Hi Mark. What about salvias, astrantias and osteospermums as suggestions?

Great suggestions thanks both! I'm building up a mental map but open to anymore suggestions!
