    Wonkywomble your Montana is lovely!

Here are some photos. I don't know why they're all sideways I can't seem to get them the right way up image the arch will have to move somewhere else as I dug down about 6" underneath the slate the other day and it was all gravel. We moved into this house a year ago so I'm still finding things like this!

    Thanks image

Oddly, although the photos were sideways when I added them to my post, they're the right way round now!

I have an empty 60ltr pot, but was planning to put the montana in the ground shortly. Is it big enough yet? I actually only potted it up a couple of months ago from a 9cm pot!

Mine grows over a "cheapo" metal arch and is about 5 years old. After it has flowerd, I wait until it is straggly, say about a month and then give it a nice trim with an electric trimmer ( no finess I just cut it to a nice shape without going deep). It flowers ok next year and is seemingly under control.
