I potted this on as I wasn't sure where to put it.

If it's not, hardy, I won't bother planting it out.

Can anyone advise?

    it's very nice whatever it is. I'd stick it in the ground. Even if it's only going to live a year, I think it'd be better out of the pot.

    It looks like Uncina rubra, in which case it is hardy.

    Yes it's much more bronze and shiny than the photo.
