freesias

hi bought 2 freesia plants in full bloom last year  once the plant had died down i put bulbs in greenhouse for a while replanted them in pots in greenhouse abt february this year they have not grown at all ive dug them up again and this is what ive got anyone know whats gone wrong and is the plant beyond saving imageimage

    I may be wrong but I think your freesias have made babies. Congratulations image

    I've never seen it in any I've grown (don't survive long enough) image but lots of bulb type plants multiply this way.

    am i right in thinking if these are baby bulbets  they will grow  next year  if i gently remove them and

    replant them now and leave in the greenhouse ????  thanks for previous advice given

    Just been having a look to see if Mr Google had any more info audism and it's a bit confusing out there. 

    Some sites say freesia bulbs, some say corms image 

    Either way both bulbs and corms grow little offshoots which develop into new plants.

    Unless someone else can advise you better than me I'd just give it a go and pot them up. image
