    If you strim, please watch out for hedgehogs who may well be living there given how your location looks and how overgrown the garden is. Digging out the roots is backbreaking work but oh so rewarding...

    we have decided to try and dig it out to start with as there are some really nice rose bushes that I hope we can get back into shape.  Once we have done that I plan to cover the ground for the foreseeable future with some weed control sheeting (which I can cut to allow the nice plants to survive).The garden beds won't look pretty, but our local garden centre has come great pots/containers on sale... That wil have to do for this year.... Plus it will give me time to put some life back into the lovely wooden green house we have....
