Cucumber watering system problem
in Fruit & veg
i have 6mx20m greenhouse and planting Cucumber by the sides and was wandering what should I do for watering system, My field has a dry soil and dusty from the soil, if I water the field, it is like pouring powder on a cold water, and it sinks slowly and not watering further down, I have just dug a hole between two rows of each having 4 cucumber branches each, and put a cover to hold water on it and case pierced holes, so that it moistens the ground more frequently, And when i use drop irrigation with a pump, the water never reaches the end of the drop pipes. Any ideas how to make it work? I will add pictures to demonstrate.............

Its a large area and over head watering is not good for Cucumbers as wet leaves can build problems.
In my friends large poly tunnel he has sunk pots into the ground next to his line of plants, he waters directly into those eliminating leaf splash...His tunnel is about half your size... The biggest problem he has is keeping the Temperature down, it was 37c when I was in there on sunday... It remined me of the Eden Project..
What about those small black tubed watering system used for hanging basket propergation, they can be fitted atsoil level and in hot countries even like Australia they all use that system. I wish you every success,, Do give us an ypdate..
Well the problem is that the pump is not powerful enough, or the power from my place is not powerful enough to supply the pump, I have 8 black lines and trying to water by 4 at once but the water won't reach the end....................
