Hedge Plant

Hi All

Can anyone out there give me some advice. I am looking to buy hedge plants for a wall about a metre high that could grow to around 1.5m. Can anyone recommend a type of hedge to buy. I would like something that flowers but requires little maintenance. I like the look of Florida Variegata. Any suggestions would be welcome.

    Is that Cornus florida variegata  or Weigela florida variegata you are thinking of?
