Plant ID please

ButterbearButterbear Posts: 13

I'm hoping someone may be able to identify this plant for me, please. It grew from a seed masquerading as a globe artichoke from a suttons packet. All the other seeds grew true to type but I have no idea what this is, I'm hoping its a friend, not a foe as I've nurtured it with love :-). Thank you in advance.

Now I don't seem able to post the photos...I'm using a Samsung phone...can anyone help in either department as I'd really like to know what this is! Thank you!

    I think I've done it :-).

The plant in question is about 2' tall and currently residing in a 2litre pot.

    Thank you

I think it's a wild radish or something closely related.  Definitely in the brassicaceae family.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Thank you very much, Bob. The stem is slightly marbled with white. It sounds as though it is harmless enough so I think I will continue to tend to its needs, especially as it is starting to produce some pretty flowers.
