Get it out of the pot and put into your garden in its final position. Water well and enjoy for this season. Read up about pruning etc. so you know how to look after it.

I know that blue berries need special attention and soil and I wondered if red BERRIES were in the same variety

I agrree with Ladybird4, just the basics needeed.

no special attention needed but dont water too much because the berries might split. add some manure around the base

I love redcurrents, the only problem I seem to have are with aphids or something similar.  Seen a small ladybird on one of the redcurrent bushes today so hopefully that gobble a lot of them up.  Apart from that they've been very easy to grow

Dont laugh but you can get Ladybirds thru the post................no they dont fly in formation up the front path ...........that you can release on the bush to breed and eat all the aphids

They will then move on to other parts of the garden and continue to flourish
