ive been to wilkos to buy perlite they dont have it i need it for potting on plug plants so a longer trip to b&q monty don said use half perlite and half potting compast fror plug plants because its free draing makes sense to me

Horticultural grit will do if you can't get perlite (I've managed without it for all my gardening life!) You don't find perlite on cliff tops either, where the thrift grows naturally
