Looks like speedwell, but also possibly mint.
    Do the leaves smell?

Thanks Pete. No, the leaves don't smell of anything

Definitely got a mint look, what size are the leaves Lena 'cos they look a bit big for Speedwell?

Looks like speedwell to me too  - look out for little blue flowers - very pretty but invasive.

Thanks everyone. I might pot it on and see whether I like it when it's bigger image

Try googling speedwell (or veronica) and have a look at Images - then you'll know what you're going to get.
I've got several cultivated varieties and they are beautiful, but I think your little 'un generally regarded as a weed I'm afraid..

My garden is infested with the weed version and it's a pig to get rid of - it just keeps popping up everywhere.  Horrid little thready roots that I keep missing bits of :(
