Wilted Tomatoes

I made a couple of mistakes, one within my control.

I didn't check the weather for the afternoon so left the greenhouse closed up, it did cross my mind to open the windows but I thought, I'll be home briefly at around 1pm so I'll open it all up then and water.

I got held up dreadfully at work, I didn't get home till well after 4pm, this is what met me.

I've since put some screening up

Also I've been opening the greenhouse every morning and watering but the top leaves aren't recovering.

Help, what can I do and is my crop ruined?

I'd say they'll probably recover. The lower leaves seem OK and the main stems haven't collapsed. The tops do look permanently damaged, but you should get sideshoots from lower down which will take over. I'd just treat them normally (don't overwater) and not remove any sideshoots until you can choose healthy new ones to take over as leaders (assuming these are cordon varieties). I can see one or two shoots starting in photos 1 & 2.

Our glasshouse has side windows which are kept open for most of the time now, and Coolglass is painted on the outside to reduce the effects of the sun, as Onopordum has said if the top has perished look for the strongest side shoot to continue.

I gave up 2 years ago growing toms in the greenhouse,2014, it was very hot in the day in march and cold at night, got blossom end rot.  Found it very difficult to water etc. while working, so I put them outside the greenhouse in pots and the rest in the veg plot.
