Why has my lupin changed colour?

  • not a lupin but one of my fox gloves is pink at the bottom and yellow at the top. Is this normal?

    The colour changes and develops as the buds open Faywray. Perfectly normal - lots of plants are the same-creamy in bud before the true colour comes through  image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Today. Not sure how accurate the colour is with my phone but it is definitely RED
