Is it a hoverfly

    Well I must admit that threw me for a moment and I'm not altogether sure it IS a hoverfly on second viewing. I cannot make out any wings and you can usually see them on hoverflies. Its definitely not a wasp but could be a teeny grasshopper????

    No problem Ladybird...it's a species of Longhorn Beetle that mimics a wasp to deter predators.
