Weed killer

I'm turning a large area of stoney ground into lawn, but they area still to be prepared is getting very weedy. Is there a weed killer I can use that won't harm the grass seed when I sow it. Doing about 50m at a time, still got about 500m to go. Thanks in advance.

h yvonneian of the top of my head one stands out that I have used before and it works weedoll2 but it is better if you use a pump action spray ..there is a few more but can.not think yetthe last one I got was a gypsof///// type but only get in 5ltrs about £45 but my garden was very over run with nettles when I got it michael
This stuff should do the trick over the stony bits, will kill the grass though.

I have just found the dreaded mares tail coming through the fence onto my path from next door. Nightmare weed. Been reading everything I can.
