Tomato feed

Hi all,

Do you feed toms when in flower or when you can see tiny fruit?

Hi Angela. You start feeding as soon as you can see the first truss of tiny tomatoes.

Begin feeding ours when the first flowers are fully out, works OK.

You can save money and make your own feed from Comfrey, pick leaves from the comfrey plant and put them in a bucket of water and leave for a few weeks. But be aware it stinks, then mix the comfrey mix at about 1-10 to water to feed your toms. You can also make up feed from stinging nettles using the same method which I use around my allotment.
