soil treated by ant powder

Can soil that has been treated with ant killer powder be used to grow food crops?

Hope so, since we have used it extensively over the last 20 years in the polytunnel. And since it is 99 percent talcum powder I doubt very much that it is going to be harmful to humans. Any poison in it is going to be quickly diluted when it rains.
