No, they are from pkt seed 'Sunshine Mixed' . I am planning on harvesting my own seeds this year, I will probably just leave a couple of flower heads on each plant and wait for them to dry out naturally ( until they fall apart when touched).....I'll give it a go as I love to see what variations are thrown up ...surprise,surprise!!
Yes, it will be interesting to see what type of flowers are produced from the collected seed. I may well do the same as you flowers, as I found the pkt seeds quite expensive considering there were only a dozen or so seeds in each pkt.
Yes, the price of seeds does add up, especially when often only half the seeds in the packet is actually used. I am trying to grow as many seeding plants as possible, to collect and re-sow the following year. Does this diminish the strength of the second year plants I wonder?
