Furry orchid shaped outdoor plant

I have no idea where all of these random plants are coming from in my garden! But I do seem to be lucky that so far any gifts from Mother Nature have fallen in with my purple and pink colour scheme! ???? so the latest plant is in a tub with a dying back aubretia and there was a trialling fuschia in the same pot last year. So what is this velvet textured hard feeling plant that looks so pretty? There's buds on the same style plant beside it

    Thanks! I never planted them. Could they have blown from a neighbour and seeded in my garden. so far this year I've acquired a clematis, an aquilegia, an echium and this!
