Growing asparagus

Advice needed and greatly appreciated

    Leave them.  They will turn into ferns which will feed and help to build up the roots.  The ferns are the 'leaves' of asparagus and are what the plants use to photosyntesize food from air, water and sunlight. image.

    Thankyou very much.  I read female asparagus are no good that's why u was confused. Thankyou for your help
