Isn't Johnson s baby lotion meant to work wonders for repelling insects?
I'm not advertising but I heard, (from a big hairy man) that the ding dong skin so-soft-lotion repels them. The original blue stuff. He spent a lot of time in Scotland and the midges crucified him.
He smelt like a big girly though!!!!
It's what all hillwalkers up here use ppauper.
Apparently they didn't like the fact that walkers use their product for that purpose, but they refuse to make a proper midge repellent with the same recipe even though they'd sell loads of it.
They never bother me so I don't need it

I'd rather get bitten than wear more than 1% lycra. I might try the JBL. If I get bit again I'll blame you lot!
I'm curious about what bit me. Immediate reaction -I could watch it swelling almost and an hour later it was gone. Not the extended experience of gnats or mozzies
The last midge that bit me was arrested for drunk flying
I hope they threw the book on him!
