any idea what this tree is? I saw it whilst walking my dog and thought it looked rather lovely.

    It's called snowball tree....can't think why image Otherwise known as Viburnum opulous. That's a belter! Mine's about a foot high at the minute. Only a baby.

    I actually bought mine last autumn when I saw the leaves. They were stunning. The flowers will be a bonus.

    I grow the species. Flowers not as flamboyant but I get berriesimage

    Lovely autumn colour plus the berries. beautiful

    Currently considering one for the part of the garden just opened up by my boundary fence.  

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I've got the red berried and the yellow berried one. Both gorgeous in autumn. Did try one of these but it seemed to be perpetually covered in aphids and other pests, no such problems with the others.
